Thermal Protective Aid
Thermal Protective Aid(TPA) is SOLAS approved for life raft and lifeboat, made of waterproof material with low thermal conductivity and shall be used in conjunction with an approved lifejacket.

Thermal Protective Aid shall be provided for every person on the ship who has not been provided with one of the immersion suits in the open type lifeboat and life raft.

- Sections 3 of Parts 1 and sections 2 of Parts 2 of MSC.81(70) Revised Recommendation on Testing of Life-saving Appliances, as amended by MSC.226(82),MSC.323(89)
Tests Carried Out:
In accordance with the Recommendation on Testing of Life-Saving Appliances, IMO Res.81(70) Part 1, including IMO Res. MSC.200(80), IMO Res. MSC.226(82) and IMO Res. MSC.323(89), have been witnessed and evaluated and found to be in compliance.
