Emergency Escape Breathing Device

Emergency Escape Breathing Device known as EEBD, is an open-circuit compressed air brething apparatus with a hood for escape with 15min duration.

EEBD provides personal breathing protection during escape from a compartment that has a hazardous atmosphere. Not to be used for fire fighting or when entering oxygen deficient tanks or voids, or worn by fire fighters.

  2. EN 1146:2005 Respiratory protective devices-Self-contained open-circuit compressed air breathing apparatus incorporating a hood for escape-Requirements, testing, marking
  3. Chapter 3 of International Code for Fire Safety Systems as amended by MSC.339(91).

Tests Carried Out:

In accordance with ISO 23269-1 (2008) and EN1146 (2005).
