Prototype testing per ISO 5488 (2015) §8. After installation, onboard tests and inspection as specified in MSC.1/Circ.1331 §3.6 shall be carried out. For on board testing, reference is made to IMO circular MSC.1/Circ.1331 – IMO “Guidelines for Construction, Installation, Maintenance and Inspection of means of Embarkation and Disembarkation”.
