Together with two portable tanks each containing at least 20 litres approved foam concentrate, the foam applicator unit is capable of producing effective foam suitable for extinguishing an oil fire, at a nominal foam solution flow rate of 480 l/min (±10%) at the nominal pressure in the fire main.
Tests has been carried out in accordance with MSC.217(82), Ch.4, Sec 3 of FSS Code.
Portable Foam Applicator Unit capable of being connected to the fire main for discharging with a fire hose low-expansion foam in machinery space (Oil-fired boilers/ Internal combustion machinery and oil fuel units), Vehicle / Ro-Ro / Special Category spaces and similar fire hazard areas, also where requested by the Rules
