The fire blanket should be located in any fire-hazard area to provide instant protection such as galley kitchen fires, and clothing fires.
Fire blanket is made from fireglass with silicone rubber coating and sewn on all four sides to isolate heat sources and flames with temperature resistance above 550 ℃, mainlu used to extinguish oil fires or cover crews to escape.
A critical safety tool on board, primarily used to smother small fires—especially grease or oil fires in the galley—and to protect people if their clothing ignites.
