Each SCBA shall be used together with an approved lifeline (complying with the requirements of MED/3.44 and ISO23269-2 Para 4.28.) as part of the fire-fighters outfit according to FSS Code Ch.3.2.1.3.
Self‑Contained Breathing Apparatus 6L (SCBA), normally fitted with steel cylinder at 30 MPa, total air volume 1800L, nominal working time 50‑60 min. It is cost‑effective and widely used as standard marine firefighting equipment.
In accordance with ISO 23269-2:2011, EN 136:1998 including AC:2003 and EN 137:2006.
