All merchant ships engaged in international voyages are obligated to conduct regular air tightness pressure inspections for immersion suits (adult & child sizes) every 3 years; immersion suits over 10 years old require annual pressure testing.

Description

Introduction:

The immersion suit test kit is equipped with a high-efficiency neck sealing adapter designed for the neck opening of survival immersion suits. This sealing fixture enables rapid, straightforward pressure testing of immersion suits without cumbersome assembly of threaded components. The unit integrates both immersion suit testing and repair functions into a single complete kit.

Purpose:

To check for tiny cracks, seam gaps, zipper sealing failures and other air leakage defects.

Application:

1. Regular mandatory onboard inspections on ocean-going cargo ships, passenger vessels, offshore drilling platforms
2. Authorized maritime service stations for periodic official overhaul & certification

Specification:

Consists of an airtight clamp, manual inflating pump, pressure gauge, spanner, a booklet and a set of repair tools.
