Child Life Jackets are an inherently buoyant (>75N) children lifejacket and is approved for persons with a weight of 15 – 43 kg and a height of 100 – 155 cm.
SOLAS Foam Life Jackets (Child) are filled with high-buoyancy closed-cell foam, constructed with high-visibility marine orange fabric and multiple SOLAS standard reflective tapes. It automatically turns the child’s head upward after falling into water to keep the mouth and nose above water surface.
In accordance with recommendation on testing of Lifesaving Appliances, IMO Res. MSC.81(70), part 1, including IMO Res. MSC.200(80), IMO Res. MSC.226(82), IMO Res.MSC.323(89) and IMO Res. MSC.378(93).
