Lifebuoy Lights

Lifebuoy Lights are essential marine safety equipment fitted to lifebuoys on board ships, fully complying with the requirements of SOLAS with MED approved.

  • Activate automatically (tilts witch and water flow switch)
  • Lithium battery or Alkaline battery power sources
  • LED bulb
  • MED or CCS certificate

Lifebuoy lights complying with SOLAS requirements shall be automatically activated when dropped into water, and provide a white light output of minimum 2 candelas over a continuous period of not less than 2 hours.

Description

Introduction:

Lifebuoy lights are positon indicating lights, shall be installed on brackets or clips adjacent to lifebuoys fitted on ship structures or deck railings to ensure automatic release when the lifebuoy is thrown overboard.
